Meagan Cheshier

Partner — Finance & Accounting

Meagan Cheshier is a Partner at Trait LLC, where she oversees the company's finance, accounting, and financial strategy. She manages the systems and financial controls that support Trait's continued growth, helping ensure projects are backed by disciplined budgeting, accurate reporting, and responsible financial management.

Working alongside Trait's operations team, Meagan provides the financial oversight necessary to support projects ranging from commercial service work to larger construction and government contracts. Her focus on organization, accountability, and long-term planning helps position Trait for sustainable growth while maintaining the responsiveness of a hands-on contracting company.

Austin Cheshier

Partner — Sales & Operations

Austin Cheshier is a Partner at Trait LLC, leading the company's sales, operations, and project development efforts. He works directly with customers, contractors, facility managers, and project teams from initial opportunity and estimating through field execution and project closeout.

Austin's role bridges the commercial and operational sides of the business, with a focus on developing practical solutions, coordinating field resources, and building long-term customer relationships. He helps lead Trait's work across commercial, industrial, and government projects involving gates, access control, perimeter security, metal fabrication, and specialty construction.

His approach is centered on responsiveness, problem-solving, and delivering projects safely and efficiently while continuing to expand Trait's capabilities and customer base.

The same people fabricate in the Argyle shop and run service calls across the Metroplex. Nothing is subcontracted out to a crew you've never met.

Manny Garcia

Senior Technician

Manny brings 15 years of maintenance and industry experience to the Gate Tech Pros crew. As Senior Technician he handles diagnosis and repair across swing, slide, and cantilever gates — operators, control boards, limit switches, safety devices, and access control — on residential, HOA, and commercial sites throughout the Metroplex.

Long experience is what separates a diagnosis from a parts swap. It's the reason a gate that has already had two operators replaced gets looked at differently on the third call.

Away from the truck, Manny follows baseball and spends his time with his wife and kids.

Isaiah Washington

Fabricator & Gate Technician

Isaiah has been welding since 2024 and works both sides of the business — fabricating gate frames, posts, and brackets in the Argyle shop, then installing and servicing them in the field.

That combination matters on custom work. The person who built the leaf understands how it was meant to hang, and catches things on site that a crew working from someone else's drawing would miss.

Outside the shop, Isaiah spends his time fishing and with his family.

Part of something larger

One shop, six brands

Gate Tech Pros is the DFW gate service, repair, and installation arm of Trait LLC, which has been building since 2020. The same crews and the same shop also run Fabricate My Gate, Crash Rated Perimeter, Crash Rated Gate, and Build My Water Tower.

Practically, that means a residential driveway gate is built by people who also fabricate crash-rated perimeter systems for substations and federal facilities — and it's why structural repair is on the menu instead of an automatic replacement.
